I live in Ohio and would like to find the closest state where I could drive to and talk to a doctor in a Cannabis Medical facility about trying it. I have fibro and chronic pain for some 8-9 yrs. I am under the care of local doc in Ohio, she gives me pills for the pain and all what goes with major pain and after having some 22 operations I just can’t lead a valued life. I have to get off of this medical merry go roundt and get something I can control myself instead of someone pushing large drug companies pills down my throat cause that is all what is avaialbe in Ohio. I need help. PLEASE

Medicine is not taxed in Michigan, or under the Medical Marijuana Act. The entire bill is just more needless regulation, not for the benefit of patients and caregivers.

Well, like any other industry, they will regulate and tax the heck out of smaller medical marijuana dispensaries and give major tax loopholes and less regulation to the big corporate medical marijuana dispensaries. The end result will be a corporate monopoly of companies with the most lobbyists.
